Job Title: Sales Executive cum Sales Supervisor
Company: Mkwawa Water Limited
Location: Tanzania
Gross Salary: TZS 600,000/= per month + Sales Commission Incentives

Job Summary

Mkwawa Water Limited, a leading provider of clean and safe drinking water in Tanzania, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive cum Sales Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales representatives, and ensuring the company’s products reach a wide customer base. This role requires a combination of leadership, sales expertise, and customer relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and expand market share.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential clients, distributors, and retailers.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  4. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  5. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients.
  6. Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management.

Team Supervision

  1. Supervise, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives to ensure they meet individual and team sales targets.
  2. Assign sales territories and set performance goals for the sales team.
  3. Monitor the performance of the sales team and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
  4. Organize and lead regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies.
  5. Ensure the sales team adheres to company policies and procedures.

Customer Service

  1. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  2. Ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues related to orders or deliveries.
  3. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication.

Administrative Duties

  1. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales team performance.
  2. Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to management.
  3. Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure product availability.

Qualifications and Skills

  1. Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG or beverage industry. Prior experience in a supervisory role is an added advantage.
  3. Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  4. Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, results-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work under pressure.

  1. Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  2. Growth in customer base and market share.
  3. Team performance and achievement of individual sales targets.
  4. Customer satisfaction and retention rates.
  5. Timely submission of sales reports and other administrative tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

  1. Gross Salary: TZS 600,000/= per month.
  2. Incentives: Attractive sales commission based on performance.
