Job Title: Sales Executive

Gross Salary: TZS 300,000/= per month

Job Summary

Mkwawa Water Limited, a leading clean and safe drinking water provider in Tanzania, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding our customer base, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong sales acumen, and a passion for achieving targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales and Revenue Generation:
    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers, including retailers, wholesalers, and corporate clients.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  2. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
    • Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Regularly follow up with customers to ensure repeat business and loyalty.
  3. Product Promotion:
    • Promote Mkwawa Water products to potential customers through presentations, demonstrations, and marketing campaigns.
    • Educate customers on the benefits of Mkwawa Water products and services.
  4. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the Sales Manager.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
  5. Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the marketing and distribution teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
    • Provide feedback to the management team on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
  6. Territory Management:
    • Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory or region.
    • Ensure efficient coverage of the territory to maximize sales opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education:
    • Minimum of a Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • At least 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG or beverage industry.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Other Requirements:
    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
    • Knowledge of the local market and customer base is an added advantage.
