Job Description
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building relationships with clients, identifying sales opportunities, and promoting our range of fertilizers to meet the needs of farmers and distributors. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of agricultural practices and excellent sales skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential customers, including farmers, distributors, and agricultural businesses.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Promote and explain the benefits of our fertilizer products to potential customers.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets within assigned territories or markets.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs.
- Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams based on customer input.
- Prepare and deliver sales reports to management.
- Represent the company at trade shows, agricultural fairs, and other events.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the agriculture or fertilizer industry.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices and fertilizer usage is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
