Job Description
Job Purpose:
Bridge between the customer and organization Nutrient solutions in the Agriculture and Horticulture industry. Generating revenue, building a strong client network, and forging strategic partnerships to ensure a sustainable business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the agricultural sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including farmers, distributors, and agribusinesses.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, helping them select the right products and solutions for their needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions to educate clients about the benefits and features of our products.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to develop strategies for promoting new and existing products.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, contracts, and agreements.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our brand
Key Accountabilities:

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Science
- Over 10 years of experience in Tanzania
- Sales & marketing experience with Agriculture/ Science background.
- Experience in Agricultural fertilizer sales & marketing, is preferable
- Must have strong sales and collection skills.
- Excellent negotiation, customer engagement and closure skills with basic field promotion knowledge.
- Agricultural crop production and maintenance experience is an added advantage
- Agriculture crop nutrients, pest & disease management skills are the key preferred skills.
- 15-20 years of Sales & Marketing experience in Agricultural fertilizer industry
- Self-initiative, aggressiveness, experience in conducting field trials at end user level, floating effective revenue generating schemes and proactive actions on competition are value added inputs
- Must achieve sales and collection targets as agreed with management.
- Must have to handle all Agriculture fertilizer business-related responsibilities .
