Job Description

The Head, Security Operations is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all security strategies, systems, and protocols to safeguard the Group’s assets, people, and operations across multiple sites, including industrial parks, construction sites, and offices. The role ensures compliance with security regulations, prevention of incidents, and effective emergency response to protect the business, its employees, and stakeholders.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities, Security Team Setup:

  • Establish and organize a robust security team for the industrial park.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise security personnel to ensure a high standard of professionalism and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the security team.

Security Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day security operations, including access control, surveillance, and emergency response.
  • Implement security protocols to safeguard against theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities.

Security Technology Integration

  • Evaluate and implement state-of-the-art security technologies such as CCTV, access control systems, and alarm systems.
  • Collaborate with relevant vendors to ensure the proper functioning of security equipment and technology.

Emergency Response Planning

  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans to address potential security threats or incidents.
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services to enhance overall security and response capabilities.

Incident Investigation

  • Lead investigations into security incidents, accidents, or breaches and implement corrective actions.
  • Compile and maintain detailed incident reports and documentation.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Security Management, Criminal Justice, etc.) preferred.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP)) are an advantage.
  • Must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years relevant working experience, six (6) years of which should have been in senior management.
  • Previous experience in a security leadership role.
  • Proven experience in security management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of security technologies, systems, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with local and state regulations related to security.
