Job Description

The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for supporting the sales team with technical expertise and driving the sales of our technical products and services. This position will work closely with both the sales and technical teams to ensure that our offerings meet customer requirements and expectations, optimizing the overall sales process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise to the sales team in product demonstrations, client presentations, and proposal development.
  • Act as a liaison between the sales and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and understanding of customer needs.
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of technical product presentations to clients.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to identify potential areas of product improvement and innovation.
  • Lead the response to technical inquiries and provide solutions to client problems during the sales process.
  • Train and mentor the sales team on technical aspects of the products and services.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s product portfolio and industry trends to effectively position the products in the market.
  • Ensure that customer feedback is effectively communicated to the product and technical teams for continuous improvement.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in technical sales or a similar role, ideally within cement/construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of technical products and services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and sales teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset.
