Job Description OR Key Responsibilities For Store Manager

Inventory Management:

  • Oversee the inventory of both vehicles and automotive parts, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper organization.
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturers to place orders for vehicles, parts, and accessories based on customer demand and trends.
  • Regularly conduct stock audits and manage the parts department’s stock levels, identifying slow-moving or excess inventory.
  • Organize and display parts For Easy accessibility.

Parts Department Operations:

  • Manage the parts team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including order processing, stock management, and parts sales.
  • Ensure parts are properly stored, categorized, and easily accessible for Workshop Staff
  • Supervise the ordering, receiving, and Stacking of Parts.
  • Track and manage parts returns, warranties, and defects.

Staff Management:

  • Lead and motivate the store and parts team, ensuring that they are knowledgeable, customer-focused, and high-performing.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their product knowledge and Quality Controll.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to enhance staff performance.

Financial Oversight:

  • Monitor the financial performance of both the retail store and parts department, ensuring profitability and meeting revenue targets.
  • Control inventory costs and minimize waste or obsolete stock.
  • Oversee pricing strategies for vehicles and parts, ensuring they are competitive and profitable.
  • Prepare and present financial reports on sales, margins, and budget compliance.

Store and Parts Department Operations:

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and legal requirements within both the store and parts departments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive retail and parts display area.
  • Oversee daily operations of the store, ensuring efficiency and a customer-friendly environment.

Vendor Development

  • Ensure high standards of Vendor service in parts departments.
  • Assist Team Member for parts identification, and solutions for their automotive needs.
  • Build long-term relationships with Vendor by offering Good Payment service and follow-ups.
  • Alteast 5 + years experience in the same field
  • Truck parts knowledge is an added advantage
  • English literate - Spoken and Written
