Fleet Manager at Minjingu Mines & Fertiliser

Minjingu Mines and Fertiliser Ltd. (MMFL), a leading name in the mining and fertilizer industry in Tanzania, is looking for talented professionals to join our dynamic Logistics team. We are currently hiring for the following positions. The above positions are based out of the MMFL factory in Minjingu. The company will provide accommodation in its township at Minjingu.

Fleet Manager (1 Nos)

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Profit Centre head for the Logistics Department.
• Oversee the daily operations of a fleet of 50-100 trucks.
• Develop strategies to optimize fleet performance, reduce downtime, and improve fuel efficiency.
• Supervise fleet maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Track fleet performance and provide regular reports to management.
• Manage budget and cost-effectiveness of fleet operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Fleet Manager, preferably handling 50+ vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, logistics, and fleet management software.
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of Tanzanian road safety laws and regulations.
• Valid driver’s license (preferably with heavy vehicle endorsement).
