1. Service Advisors:
- Description: Service Advisors are the crucial link between customers and the service department. They act as the face of Auto Inc., providing exceptional customer service and managing the service process from start to finish.
- Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers and listening to their vehicle concerns.
- Accurately documenting vehicle issues and customer requests.
- Providing detailed service estimates and explaining repair options.
- Scheduling service appointments and managing the service workflow.
- Keeping customers informed about the status of their vehicles.
- Processing invoices and handling customer inquiries.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction.
2. Sales Consultants:
- Description: Sales Consultants focus on selling genuine parts and potentially promoting service packages. They have a strong understanding of vehicle components and can recommend appropriate solutions to customers.
- Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers in identifying and selecting the correct parts.
- Providing expert advice on vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Processing sales transactions and managing inventory.
- Promoting service packages to customers.
- Maintaining a strong knowledge of Auto Inc.'s product offerings.
3. Parts Pickers:
- Description: Parts Pickers are responsible for retrieving and organizing automotive parts within the warehouse or parts department. They play a vital role in ensuring that technicians have the necessary components to complete repairs efficiently.
- Responsibilities:
- Accurately locating and retrieving parts based on work orders.
- Verifying part numbers and quantities.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and organization.
- Preparing parts for delivery to technicians or customers.
- Assisting in receiving and stocking new inventory.
4. Foremen/Testers:
- Description: Foremen/Testers are experienced technicians who oversee the work of other technicians and perform diagnostic testing to identify vehicle problems. They ensure quality control and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Responsibilities:
- Supervising and coordinating the work of service technicians.
- Performing diagnostic testing using advanced equipment.
- Identifying and troubleshooting complex vehicle issues.
- Ensuring that repairs are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Conducting final inspections and quality checks.
5. Service Technicians:
- Description: Service Technicians are skilled professionals who perform a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks. They have a strong understanding of automotive systems and use their expertise to keep vehicles running smoothly.
- Responsibilities:
- Performing routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical problems.
- Replacing worn or damaged parts.
- Following manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
- Documenting all work performed.
6. Alignment Technicians:
- Description: Alignment Technicians specialize in adjusting vehicle wheel alignment to ensure proper handling, tire wear, and fuel efficiency. They use specialized equipment to measure and correct alignment angles.
- Responsibilities:
- Performing wheel alignment checks and adjustments.

8. Fitters/Balancers:

- Mounting and dismounting tires from wheels.
- Balancing tires using specialized equipment.

9. Fitters/Balancers – Heavy Duty Vehicles:
- Description: These fitters/balancers work with the larger and more durable tires that are used on heavy duty vehicles.
- Responsibilities:
- Mounting and balancing large truck and bus tires.
- Operating heavy duty tire equipment.
- Repairing large commercial tires.
- Understanding heavy vehicle tire specifications.
10. AC/Auto Electricians:
- Description: AC/Auto Electricians specialize in diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical and air conditioning systems. They have a strong understanding of vehicle wiring, electronics, and HVAC systems.
- Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical problems, such as faulty wiring, lights, and sensors.
- Troubleshooting and repairing air conditioning systems.
- Installing and repairing vehicle accessories.
- Using diagnostic tools to identify electrical and electronic issues.
- Recharging AC systems.
