Individual Contractor for Collection of Cost Data – 1 position ( To work in Arusha and Tabora)

How will you contribute to Early Childhood Development impact? The Individual Contract will play a key role in supporting Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) Malezi III Project.

These include support data collection activities such as conducting focus group discussions, in-depth interviews and review of financial documents as per research objectives. The Individual Contractors will work closely with the Early Childhood Development (ECD) Project team, Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator, Research and Evaluation team and the Senior Manager Early Childhood Development to implement research activities for EGPAF Malezi III Project in research councils in Arusha and Tabora regions.

This role will position EGPAF Tanzania as a leader in implementing ECD related researches aiming at improving ECD services for children, adolescents, and their families.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Review of Financial Documents: Conduct review of financial records through interviews with members of Local Government Authorities (LGAs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).
  • Complete costing tool: Complete Excel costing tool following review of financials documents and interviews with members of Local Government Authorities (LGAs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).

Qualifications

To be successful, you will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree of Accounting, finance or Health Economics. A master’s degree is a strong advantage.

Experience

  • Experience in collection of costing data through review of financial records at local government authorities (LGAs) of Tanzania or Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).
  • Experience in research, focusing on cost evaluation, health financing and policy evaluation is an added advantage.
  • Previous experience n collection of costing data through review of financial records is a strong advantage.

Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Knowledge

  • Understanding of information privacy and confidentiality practices.

Additional Requirements
