Job Description
The Business Performance Analyst will be responsible for assessing and improving the performance of the business by analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and operational data. Their insights will help optimize business strategies, enhance decision-making, and drive improvements in performance across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Analyze business data from various sources to assess performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Reporting: Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on business performance, highlighting key insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Performance Metrics: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business objectives and outcomes.
- Business Insights: Work closely with senior management and department heads to provide actionable insights on business strategies and operational efficiency.
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Assist with the development of financial forecasts, budgeting, and long-term planning.
- Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to business processes, systems, and workflows to increase operational efficiency and profitability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams (finance, marketing, operations, sales, etc.) to gather data and ensure alignment on business performance metrics.
- Risk Analysis: Identify potential risks or challenges to business performance and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
- Presentation: Present findings and insights to stakeholders, providing clear and actionable recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business performance analysis, data analysis, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and other analytical tools.
- Knowledge of business performance metrics, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
