Job Description
VVOB education for development, is an international non-profit organization with over 40 years of experience in strengthening the quality of education systems in Africa, Asia, and South America. We work in close partnership with ministries of education and their institutions. Our head office is based in Brussels, Belgium.

Result Areas As an Operations Officer, your responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative and logistical support to projects and staff (e.g., travel arrangements, meeting venues).
- Managing office supplies, database records, and overall office management.
- Supporting supply chain management, including procurement, receiving, and maintaining supplies.
- Overseeing daily administrative procedures to ensure compliance and efficient business functionality.
What You Can Expect / A Typical Week Includes:
- Reviewing procurement plans with your manager.
- Managing office and program supply purchases following VVOB procedures.
- Organizing logistics for workshops and ensuring venue compliance.
- Updating asset lists and coordinating with the insurance provider.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Office/Business Administration or related field.
- Certifications: Professional qualification in Office Management/Procurement preferred.
- Experience: Prior similar roles, preferably in non-profit organizations.
Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
- Tanzanian nationality with a valid work permit.
