Job Description

Job Description Assisting in, Preparation of amounts payable to NSSF and WCF, Preparing and Filling data for VAT- e-filling system. Handling petty cash transactions.

  • Preparation of amounts payable to TRA like, PAYE, SDL.
  • Reconciling of local creditors to supplier’s statements versus General Ledger.
  • Manage cash flow by reviewing and process payments, verifying documentation, and facilitate the disbursement within the terms and parameters agreed.
  • To prepare Monthly Cost Analysis.
  • Printing and Filling Sales Invoices from EFD/TRA machine.
  • Monthly Bank Reconciliation.
  • Reconciliation of stocks.
  • Monthly Payroll preparation and reconciliation.
  • Use of TANCIS system to process all our imports and exports according to the required rules and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit of EPZA Report on time. (Monthly, Quarterly).
  • Monthly Reconciliation of (Sales & VAT) accounts.
  • Proper filling and keeping of Invoices and other supporting documentation.
  • Handling of Staff Loans and Salary Advances
  • Assist on preparation of Annual Statutory Audit and TRA Audit for the company.
  • Assist in preparation and compiling of the company budget with the help of the Finance Manager and The Managing Director. This includes main budget and budget projection/reviews.
  • Verifies items billed against items ordered and received and reconciles differences through follow-up with the vendor and/or other employees.
  • Posts financial data to appropriate accounts in an automated accounting system, according to instructions.
  • To carry out any other duties as Instructed by Finance Manager and The Managing Director.

Qualification Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and finance skills
  • Experience with invoice and accounting.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in financial documentation and reporting
  • Ability to work effectively on – site and in team – driven environment
  • Experience in the horticultural industry is a plus
