Overview
PCC (pcc.tpf.go.tz) Tanzania Police Clearance Certificate Portal is an online platform provided by the Tanzania Police Force to facilitate the application and issuance of Police Clearance Certificates. A Police Clearance Certificate is an official document that certifies an individual’s criminal record status within Tanzania, often required for purposes such as employment, immigration, or study abroad.
Police Clearance Portal Login:
- Access the Portal: Visit the official PCC portal at https://pcc.tpf.go.tz/.
- Register an Account: Create a user account by providing your personal details, including a valid ID National Identity Card, or Voters Identity Card, or Birth Certificate or Passport Document, also you will require to have valid email address and phone number.
- Please fill out registration form accurately and completely. Once the registration is complete, you will receive an Application Number and a Reference ID. Please copy and save these numbers for future use in the system when necessary.
Police Clearance Application Process:
Upload Required Documents: Attach necessary documents, which may include:
- One passport-sized photograph (480×640 pixels).
- A copy of your National Identity Card, birth certificate, or passport.
Make Payment: Pay the applicable fee through the provided payment methods:
- For residents within Tanzania: TZS 10,000.
- For residents outside Tanzania: USD 50.
Submit Application: After completing the form and payment, submit your application through the portal.
Tracking Your Application:
You can track the status of your application by visiting tracking page https://pcc.tpf.go.tz/registration/tracking on the PCC portal. Enter your control number (payment reference number) to view the current status of your application.
Additional Information:
- For Tanzanian Residents: Applicants residing within Tanzania need to provide one passport photo and a copy of their National Identity Card, birth certificate, or passport.
- For Tanzanian Citizens Residing Abroad: Applicants residing outside Tanzania should provide one passport photo and a copy of their passport.
- For Foreign Residents in Tanzania: Foreigners residing in Tanzania need to provide one passport photo and a copy of their passport.
