NeST (nest.go.tz) National e-Procurement System of Tanzania is digital platform developed by the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) to modernize and streamline public procurement processes. Launched in 2024, NeST facilitates electronic registration, tendering, contract management, e-catalogues, and e-auctions, aiming to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability in government procurement.
Key Features of NeST:
- E-Registration: Allows suppliers to register electronically, simplifying the process and reducing administrative burdens.
- E-Tendering: Enables the submission and management of tenders online, promoting a competitive and transparent bidding environment.
- E-Contract Management: Streamlines the creation, execution, and monitoring of contracts, ensuring compliance and performance.
