ITHUBA is a South African company that operates national lotteries across Africa. In May 2024, ITHUBA expanded its operations by securing the license to manage Tanzania’s National Lottery, marking a significant milestone in its growth strategy.
As part of this partnership, ITHUBA invested 50 billion Tanzanian shillings into the National Lottery, aiming to enhance the lives of Tanzanians and stimulate economic development.
The initiative is expected to create approximately 2,000 jobs and distribute over 120 billion shillings in prizes through various draws and games planned for 2025.
