Alliance Bioversity International and CIAT is a global research-for-development organization dedicated to harnessing agricultural biodiversity to sustainably transform food systems and improve people’s lives. Established in 2019 through the merger of Bioversity International and the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), the Alliance operates under the umbrella of CGIAR, a global partnership for a food-secure future.
