Overview
SUMAIT University, formerly known as University College of Education Zanzibar, was renamed after the late Kuwaiti philanthropist Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sumait. It offers diverse academic programs with Islamic foundations in education, business, computer science, and Islamic studies. The university provides educational opportunities while promoting cultural and religious values, serving students from Zanzibar, mainland Tanzania, and other East African countries.
