Huruma Aids Concern and Care (HACOCA) is a membership-based, community-focused, non-governmental organization with over 23 years of active experience operating in Tanzania mainland.
HACOCA is committed to advancing health, economic strengthening, and education, specifically targeting children, youth, and women. The organization envisions communities free from diseases, ignorance, poverty, and gender-based violence by promoting health and socio-economic welfare through partnerships and collaborations with government and local stakeholders. With expertise in HIV interventions, HACOCA has successfully implemented more than 13 HIV-related projects, addressing critical areas such as HIV prevention education, Testing, STI, TB, PrEP, treatment continuity, Condom use, and viral load suppression.
